Hey, Wedding Lover!
Our favorite thing in this world is to tell love stories. And we’re so pleased that you’re interested in joining our wonderful community of talented, creative and open-minded people whose ideas, products, and contributions to our blog make My love for Weddings the thoughtful, inspirational resource that it is.
My Love for Weddings welcomes submissions from wedding photographers, industry suppliers and newlywed couples. Please find the category that you best fit in, read the instructions and go ahead! Contact us. We would love to hear from you…don’t be shy! In case it helps, we can read English, Español, Português, Français and Dansk. Also, we will respond to every single submission.
Photographers and Videographers
It makes us truly happy to know you want your work featured in My Love for Weddings. We are very proud to define ourselves as a international-love-story-telling wedding blog. But we know our posts wouldn’t be half as interesting without your pretty photos. After all, an image can tell more than one thousand words ;)
We feature weddings, engagements, day after shoots, bridal shoots, trash/cherish the dress shoots, boudoir shoots and even awesome fashion and styled shoots that we know will inspire our readers. What we look for are images that will help us telling the story of the day. The photos we like the most are the ones that allow the love and personality of the couple to shine though, that capture the unique details, the personal touches, the cultural twists. We aim to feature the cute and quirky as much as the simply stunning and everything in-between.
We love diversity and inclusion, all genders, colors, sexual orientation and body shapes and sizes! But remember that, My Love for Weddings is about international, inter-racial, inter-faith, destination and multicultural weddings, so we only feature photos that have at least of of these elements.
Have you submitted this feature to another blog already? If the answer is yes, please wait to hear back from them with a definite answer. If your submission has already been featured, don’t forget to tell us when and where. We don’t ask for exclusivity, but please be nice and wait for a reasonable amount of time before submitting your work elsewhere.
- We prefer submissions via Dropbox, Pass or a link to an online gallery. If these options don’t work, please email 15-20 jpgs to firstname.lastname@example.org with the title
- Make sure to clearly label your dropbox or zip folder with your business name and the couples name and wedding location. Final edits for weddings generally consist of 50 – 100 images. All photos need to be 900px wide. Images must contain no visible watermark, or borders and we prefer to publish colour images over black and white.
- Write us a short paragraph or a few bullet points explaining why you think this wedding/shoot is perfect for My Love for Weddings and anything that makes it particularly stand out.
- We’ll contact you within 5 working days if we’re interested in featuring it.
Please note: Permission from the couple to be featured is imperative. Please get permission from all parties before submitting a wedding or photo shoot. Further, we will need to personally contact the newly-weds in order to interview them and listen to their love story.
We can’t wait to hear all about your love story and wedding. We are so thankful for your decision to share such a personal part of your life with our readers and us.
As a general rule we usually only feature professional wedding photographs. However don’t be put off submitting just because you didn’t have a professional photographer. We have featured weddings in the past which were shot by friends and family and we would still love to see your wedding!
Please note: No matter who took the pictures, though, we need the express written authorization of that person, because the photographers are entitled to the intellectual property rights of their work. So please make sure to send us the contact to the photographer and we will contact him/her to get such authorization.

Please drop us a few lines about you, your love story, the challenges of planning an international wedding, and anything that you think may interest the readers. Name one thing you regret… And one thing you’re really proud of / happy about. Last but not least, we will need your list of vendors and your opinion about them.
