Autumn Wedding Inspiration: Directly from a Brazilian Rustic-Chic Farm

Autumn Wedding Inspiration: Directly from a Brazilian Rustic-Chic Farm

Autumn started yesterday. And I was SO happy when I woke up this morning to find that Duo Borgatto had sent me this wedding editorial! If you follow the blog, you know that Autumn is my favourite season. I love everything about it: the wind, the temperature – cooler, but still comfortable – having soup, lighting candles. But I specially love the colours! Probably because I am Brazilian and in Brazil seasons don’t change that much. We basically have a moist and warm season and a dry and cooler season. And the leaves are always green. All shades of green, but still… green.

Autumn is a second spring, when all the leaves are flowers.

At least that was what I thought until I saw this photo-shooting. Duo Borgatto is among my favourite wedding photographers! And the reason is that, through their pictures, I realize how the world, my own world, is magical! I guess you’ll understand what I am talking about, no matter where you are from.

They love wedding and know what they are doing!

This photo shooting is also quite special for another reason. All the brides you can see are gorgeous, but they are not models. They actually are wedding professionals in love with what they do!  As a bride, everything I wanted was to find professionals that would share with me the excitement for my big day. And, it turned out being quite complicated. So I was so fascinated when I found this here: seven girls who are so passionate about weddings that, in their free time they were off to a  colonial farm on the surroundings of Sao Paulo, dressed up as brides. Then, they styled the place chic-rustic and set up a whole wedding for this editorial.

What else can I say? Accommodate yourself and… Enjoy! As if it were a warm piece of apple pie in a chilli Autumn day. And please share your thoughts on the comments ;)

I am Alessandra. Nice to meet you :) This is my story. In August 2008 I left my native Brazil, my darling friends and family, and a promising attorney career to go after my dreams of a better world and take a master program in human rights law, in Sweden. A lot has happened since… and after living in Lund, Paris and Geneva, I arrived in Copenhagen, in the end of 2011, to share my life with my beloved Danish boyfriend, now husband.I used to be the kind of girl who planned traveling around the world, getting to know different cultures, maturing while exposing myself to the unknown. Honestly, I don’t remember ever dreaming of wedding flowers or dresses. Until… Well, until my cherished viking surprised me with the perfect proposal and we decided to get married...
