Angelina Jolie♥Brad Pitt’s Wedding in Correns, France: the most lovely details!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt do not require any sort of introduction. Most of us know how they’ve met and great deal of their love story. By this time everybody also knows they exchanged vows in a small chapel at the Chateau Miraval in the Provence hamlet of Correns. The union was less a vow of commitment than the official affirmation of one made long ago. Pitt and Jolie have been together nearly a decade and have six children, all of whom participated in the wedding. Maddox and Pax walked their mother down the aisle; Zahara and Vivienne threw petals on the way; Shiloh and Knox conducted the rings. Angie and Brad – yes, I am that close to them ;) are known for being down to Earth. And I think that’s why they are so admired. It seems that, in their daily lives, there is no place for splurging and ostentation. At their wedding day, they acted the same. Pay attention to how simple everything was, starting for Angie’s dress.  Yes, it was exclusively designed by Versace, but it was very clean and elegant :) The cake, that looks super cute by the way, was baked by the children!croqui-vestido-de-noiva-angelina-jolie-versace What we appreciate the most, in any wedding, are the meaningful and symbolic details. The unique touches that could only have existed in that particular wedding because they translate the couple, their beliefs and own love story. And, for that reason, we got crazy with Angie’s veil, as it was adorned with the help of their children, with colourful drawings. Wow! When we think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt could not get more inspiring… here they come! Such a thoughtful, sweet detail!

Attention to the sweetest detail: the vail was illustrated with their children drawings.

But if there is anything we put above everything else and believe should guide brides and grooms to be while planning their own wedding, it is something called freedom :) Yes, freedom to express your deepest self and to embrace what is meaningful for you, with the due respect to all other beings, needless to say. And this is to explain that what we ADORED the most in Brad and Angie – yes, I am that close to them ;)  – was their daughter Shiloh’s outfit. She was wearing such an elegant short-suit! Shiloh likes her hair short and prefer to wear clothes that are considered to be “for boys”. We believe it is AWESOME that her parents respect her the way she is… and allow their children to be who they really are. No matter the event!

What about you? Is there anything in particular that you have loved about Angie and Brad’s wedding?  Please leave your comments, we would love to hear your opinion!

I am Alessandra. Nice to meet you :) This is my story. In August 2008 I left my native Brazil, my darling friends and family, and a promising attorney career to go after my dreams of a better world and take a master program in human rights law, in Sweden. A lot has happened since… and after living in Lund, Paris and Geneva, I arrived in Copenhagen, in the end of 2011, to share my life with my beloved Danish boyfriend, now husband.I used to be the kind of girl who planned traveling around the world, getting to know different cultures, maturing while exposing myself to the unknown. Honestly, I don’t remember ever dreaming of wedding flowers or dresses. Until… Well, until my cherished viking surprised me with the perfect proposal and we decided to get married...
